About the 2021 SpiritWalk

SpiritWalk provides a cultural space to build and promote strong, healthy Native communities. Today, the event brings hundreds of people across the region together in celebration of Indigenous resilience.

This year’s theme is Land Back—the movement to restore land, language, ceremony, kinship, and medicines to Indigenous people. Proceeds from event registration will support expansion projects that help us bring culturally attuned healthcare to more communities throughout the region.* 

This event is open to the entire community, with something for everyone in the family. We offer a competitive 5K race for youth, adults, and elders; a free 1.25 mile community walk; a community picnic; and Indigenous art fair.

All event registrants will be eligible for raffle prizes, and 5K race winners will receive custom-beaded medallions.

We are closely monitoring COVID-19 guidance as it develops and strongly encourage all participants to wear facial coverings and practice social distancing. We also strongly encourage participants to be fully vaccinated.
