Indigenous Resilience in Action
Seattle Indian Health Board celebrated our 50th anniversary doing what we do best—mobilizing to address the needs of our relatives. As our world continues to be shaken by the COVID-19 pandemic, we remain unwavering in our pursuit of Indigenous health equity for our community locally and nationally—especially our Elders and our youth.
We continue to provide a safe cultural space for our relatives as we provide culturally attuned healthcare, Traditional Indian Medicine, rental assistance, nutrition services, and beyond. Nationally, we are shaping the dialogue on Indigenous health equity through policy, data, evaluation, and research services by and for Indigenous communities.
With your help, we continue to serve our community today and chart a path to long-term and sustainable growth that meets the needs of generations to come.
