Explore our teams
Health & Human Services
Drive the implementation of exceptional, culturally attuned, patient-centered healthcare services as part of our Health and Human Services Division. Our Medical, Pharmacy, Dental, Traditional Indian Medicine, Nutrition and Family, Elders, Gender-based Violence, and Homelessness Investments staff work in concert to deliver integrated services unique to each relative for their holistic health.
Operations Careers
Elevate the way we accomplish day-to-day business operations as part of our Finance, IT, Project Management, Grants and Contracts, Facilities, and Care Coordination Teams. From front-line community advocates to our systems administrators, our Operations staff are critical to providing the best care possible to our relatives.
Public Affairs Careers
Create change as part of our Government Affairs, Communications, and Development teams. Government Affairs staff works to ensure that federal trust and treaty responsibilities are honored. We were the first urban Indian health program to provide congressional testimony and continue to advocate for funding and policies that support Native people nationwide. Our acclaimed Communications team puts culturally attuned health communication into action, leveraging data-based strategies to ensure that the information we share is timely, accurate, and is specifically tailored to the communities we serve.
Urban Indian Health Institute Careers
Revolutionize the way data is collected and analyzed for American Indians and Alaska Natives as part of our research division. Urban Indian Health Institute is a Public Health Authority and one of 12 Tribal Epidemiology Centers in the country—and the only one that serves Urban Indian Health Programs nationwide. Research, Epidemiology, and Evaluation staff provide public health surveillance and conduct cutting-edge research—producing reports that are the first of their kind for Indian country.
Internships
We are cultivating the next generation of Indigenous professionals. Our public health internships allow Native students to build their skills and knowledge of public health and help train the next generation of public health workers in decolonizing data.
Family Medicine Residencies
We provide a unique opportunity to train in a federally qualified community health center with a team of dedicated family physicians, nursing professionals, traditional healers, and community outreach specialists. Our staff is committed to serving the health needs of American Indians, Alaska Natives, and the underserved of our community.
