Join Seattle Indian Health Board’s Traditional Health Department’s fall series of online classes about Traditional Food and Plant Medicines!
About the Program
American Indian and Alaska Native peoples from across this land have used indigenous medicines over generations to maintain physical, emotional, social and spiritual health. Learn about indigenous traditional foods and plant medicines that are available throughout the four seasons of winter, spring, summer and autumn. Find new ways of incorporating these medicines into your lifestyle. Enjoy them in a variety of ways as foods, teas, ciders, balms, salves, lotions, and steams to name a few.
